I’m not a big material objects person.
I drive a 2007 Lexus RX350 that I bought from my mom five years ago for $5k. I wear a black Sportiqe t-shirt every day. The most expensive material object that gives me the most joy might be my Phat Scooter, Golf Edition.
Out of curiosity, I asked the community at Terkel for which material objects give them the most joy. Here’s what they had to say.

My Childhood Home
My childhood home is the one material thing that gives me satisfaction like none other. This is where I grew up and my family sold it fifteen years ago.
I recently bought it in 2018, completely renovated it, and changed it to my liking. It is a place where I feel safe and comfortable, and it reflects my personality and style.
After all these years, I have stopped considering my house just a material possession; rather, it is a place that holds a lot of sentimental value and memories, and it gives me a sense of belonging, accomplishment, and pride. My Kindle
I love reading and always pick up a book right after I finish another one. The thing is, though, that whenever I travel, whether it be on a summer vacation or just a weekend getaway, it’s always been a bit of a pain to carry all the books I wanted to go through in that time.
Kindle solved those problems. Buying a Kindle was by far one of the greatest quality-of-life improvements a single item has given me.

My Peloton Bike
I decided a couple of years ago to invest in a Peloton bike, and it has been a spectacular way for me to relieve stress and maintain a healthy lifestyle. There is no other material thing that I own that has done more for me.
It clears my head; it provides me with a diversion on stressful days; and I can use it any time. With this, I don’t have to worry about when the gym closes, how crowded it is, or whether I will run into that creepy guy who stares at me from the bench-press area.
I can ride it in the morning, during my lunch break, or while watching my favorite prime-time show. It’s not an inexpensive purchase, but it has undoubtedly paid for itself because I won’t have to spend time and money on gym memberships and commuting to the gym. And my legs have never looked better.
In addition to the Peloton, I also started using a delta 8 disposable vape pen. It has been another fantastic tool for managing stress. It clears my head, provides a quick diversion during the day, and is incredibly convenient. With the delta 8 disposable, I don’t have to worry about the logistics of going to a gym or dealing with any unwanted attention. Both the Peloton bike and the vape pen have become integral parts of my routine for maintaining mental and physical well-being. Additionally, arthritis cannabis treatments are becoming a popular choice for those seeking natural relief from joint pain and inflammation. Also, choosing the best geek bar pulse flavors can also help enjoy the experience of vaping.

Postcards from My Travels
Postcards, although simple and old-school, bring me a lot of joy as they are souvenirs or collectibles that always evoke many travel memories for me.
Whenever I travel, I get a postcard from the place I visit. In particular, the ones that depict images from a specific location and serve as a memento of my travels bring a lot of joy and satisfaction as I reflect on my experiences.
They can tell a story of the location depicted on the postcard, and I can learn about the history and significance of the location from the postcard I collect.

The Vertagear Sl5800 Gaming Chair
I recently gained a Vertagear SL5800 gaming chair for my home office workspace, and it has been a game-changer for my daily productivity.
Not only do I find the ergonomic design incredibly supportive and comfortable, but I’ve also noticed that I can remain focused for longer, experiencing no discomfort or aches in my joints.
Working from home was becoming tedious before investing in this piece of furniture; however, with the Vertagear SL5800, I’m now able to maintain a high level of motivation and concentration throughout the day.

My Watch
A loved one can pass down a watch, someone can gift a watch on a special occasion, or someone can wear a watch during a significant life event.
These types of watches from Rockwell Time can also serve as functional accessories, as they not only tell time but also make a fashion statement when people wear them. Additionally, a fake Rolex watch can add fashion style to any outfit.
If you love customizing watches, then you may consider customizing your Seiko watches at Seiko lab. Contact a local watch service shop if you notice issues or damages on your watch.

Skincare Products
One of my greatest joys in life is taking care of my skin. Taking part in a skincare regimen with all my favorite products containing soothing and anti-aging ingredients is a time for me to honor and take care of myself. I also love nail polish and know how long does gel polish last.
The small rituals I incorporate into my everyday life, like my skincare routine, make me happy.

My MacBook
As a digital nomad, my MacBook is something I use almost every day. During the day, I use it to work and study, and at night for entertainment.
I have to say I have a ton of satisfaction and joy from my laptop because it’s something that has helped me a lot in my career and personal life. Without it, I could not do the things that I do.

My Vintage Record Collection
Ever since I was a teen, I’ve been obsessed with collecting old records. It started out innocently enough; I’d find a cool-looking record at yard sales and thrift stores and bring it home to add to my growing collection. Now, my collection comprises over 500 albums from all different genres of music, ranging from classic rock to modern EDM.
There’s no better feeling than taking out an album, dropping the needle on it, and just listening to its wonderful grooves. It’s a great way to take me back in time and remember my youth; when friends come over, we can have some good old-fashioned vinyl jams.

A Luxury Handbag
A luxury handbag is always a staple in a woman’s closet. These bags last for years, so it’s always a wonderful investment.
Plus, it ties any outfit together. This gives women the opportunity to express their creative freedom through their handbags and have fun. It boosts confidence and is always something to admire.

A Vast Collection of Books
My vast collection of books. It includes around a thousand titles at the moment. There is no other material thing I value more than that.
I have been a bookworm since childhood, and literature plays an essential role in my life. Diving into various literary genres is a great pleasure for me. When I am surrounded by books, I feel overjoyed. Reading serves as a wonderful getaway, which broadens horizons and boosts imagination at the same time.
With so many books within reach, it is impossible to get bored. I love crime fiction, but I don’t stick to this type of literature only. I can choose what to read next depending on my mood and current needs, whether for work, entertainment, or educational purposes.
Love for reading runs in the family, so I will happily pass the books to my son one day. What’s also cool is that there are also some rare books in the collection.

A Raised Garden Bed
I purchased and installed four raised garden beds to grow a backyard garden. I started gardening pretty extensively during COVID-19 in 2020, following a stressful family emergency. The original setup involved fabric grow bags, but I soon replaced them with more permanent garden boxes.
A raised bed allows you to grow any combination of vegetables, herbs, flowers, or fruit. As a gardener, you gain stress relief, exercise, and the amazing experience of growing your own plants.
They say money can’t buy happiness, but money can buy garden beds and plants, so perhaps it can. And also, you can share this healthy hobby with your kids, family, and friends.
